LAUNCHPAD BY ATMOS LABS

Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026. This is the current privacy policy for Launchpad by Atmos Labs. It explains what Launchpad accesses, why it uses that information, what is stored, what is shared, and how you can remove it.

About Launchpad

This policy applies specifically to Launchpad, a personal planning application developed and operated by Atmos Labs. Launchpad combines information you choose to add, local weather, an optional personal assistant, and—when enabled—optional Google Calendar events into a daily dashboard and morning briefing. Canvas and email are not connected in the current release.

Information you provide and local storage

The current dashboard can save your preferred name, time zone, selected city, temperature unit, personal focus, tasks, manually added events, assistant memories, recent assistant conversation, and display preferences. This information is stored in your browser using local storage so it remains available on that browser. It is not automatically synchronized to another device or a Launchpad account.

You can inspect and edit saved memories, download your locally saved Launchpad data, clear conversations, delete individual records, or erase all locally saved Launchpad information from Settings. Clearing browser storage may also remove it.

Personal assistant and OpenAI

The Launchpad Assistant is optional. Launchpad does not send planner information to the assistant merely because you open the dashboard. When you send an assistant message, Launchpad sends the message and a limited context summary to OpenAI so OpenAI can generate the reply. That context may contain your preferred name, city, stated focus, memories you explicitly saved, incomplete tasks, upcoming events, current weather summary, and recent conversation.

Launchpad uses OpenAI as a service provider for assistant responses. OpenAI may process the submitted information under its applicable API data controls and terms. Do not enter highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for planning. Launchpad does not sell assistant messages or use them for advertising.

Memories are transparent and user-controlled. Launchpad saves a memory only when you add it in the memory panel or explicitly tell the assistant to remember something. Saved memories remain visible in the memory panel and can be deleted. The OpenAI API key is kept on the server and is not included in browser code.

Google Calendar data Launchpad accesses

Google Calendar is optional and its connection is not yet enabled in the current release. When enabled, Launchpad will request read-only access to your calendar list and events. It will use calendar names and identifiers so you can select which calendars to include. For selected calendars, it will use event titles, start and end times, all-day status, locations, event status, and links to the original event.

Launchpad does not request Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services. It cannot create, edit, delete, or respond to Google Calendar events.

Why Google Calendar data is used

Launchpad will use the Google Calendar information you authorize to display your upcoming schedule, include relevant events in your morning briefing, identify overlapping events, connect event times with the weather forecast, and provide contextual planning assistance when you choose to ask the assistant. Google user data is used only for visible Launchpad features.

How Google Calendar data is stored and protected

When the connection is enabled, Google OAuth connection credentials will be encrypted on the server before storage and will not be exposed to browser code. Connections to Launchpad and Google use HTTPS. Your selected-calendar preferences may be saved in your Launchpad profile.

Launchpad is designed to request live upcoming events when you use the app rather than create an unrelated permanent copy. Any material change to this storage design will be disclosed in this policy before it is introduced.

How Google user data is shared

Launchpad does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Calendar event data is not sent to the weather provider. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process requests and store encrypted connection credentials only as needed to operate and secure the service. Google user data is not shared with unrelated third parties except when required for security or legal compliance, or for a user-directed feature with the user’s consent.

When the assistant feature is used after Google Calendar is connected, relevant calendar details may be included in the context sent to OpenAI only to answer the user’s request. The assistant interface will identify that contextual information is being used. Users who do not want calendar information processed by the assistant can use the dashboard without asking the assistant calendar-related questions or can disconnect Google Calendar.

Launchpad’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

City and weather information

City search and forecasts use Open-Meteo. A city search sends the entered city name to Open-Meteo’s geocoding service. Forecast requests send the selected city’s coordinates, time zone, and temperature unit. Launchpad does not request precise device location and does not send tasks, events, assistant memories, or Google Calendar data to the weather provider.

Briefings and audio

The dashboard assembles its standard briefing in the browser from available planner and weather information. The read-aloud option uses the browser or device speech service and begins only after you press the audio button. Depending on the device, speech processing may occur through the device provider.

Disconnecting Google and deleting data

When Google Calendar becomes available, Settings will include a disconnect control that deletes Launchpad’s saved Google connection and attempts to revoke permission. You can also revoke access through your Google Account permissions.

Deleting local dashboard data does not delete a Google, OpenAI, school, or browser account. Infrastructure security logs may remain for their normal retention periods.

School use

Launchpad is not currently an approved school service. Manually checking off an assignment does not verify submission in Canvas. Any future Canvas or school connection would require appropriate authorization and an update to this policy before access begins.

Policy changes and notice

If Launchpad changes how it accesses, uses, stores, or shares personal or Google user data, Atmos Labs will update this policy before the new practice begins, change the effective date, and display a clear notice inside Launchpad. If a change requires additional Google permissions, Launchpad will request consent before accessing that data.

Launchpad is designed to make its memories visible and controllable. Open Settings or the assistant memory panel to review, export, or delete saved information.
